PTC

Positive Train Control (PTC) is currently being installed on the Brush Subdivision and is supposed to be in full use by the middle of 2013.  PTC came from a few different federal laws.  The Rail Safety Improvement Act of 2008 along with later additions from the Federal Railroad Association; 49 CFR, 229, 234, 235 and 236.  PTC is to be completed by the Class I railroads by December 31, 2015.
